Manchester United have reportedly received three offers for Anthony Martial, who might leave in January.
Over the summer, the 27-year-old was linked with a move away from Old Trafford, but the Saudi Pro League made the only genuine offer.
Martial is thought to have stated his disinterest in moving to Saudi Arabia, thus he stayed at Old Trafford past the deadline.
He has made nine appearances in all competitions this season, scoring once and contributing one assist, however Rasmus Hojlund is ahead of him for the starting centre-forward place.
Martial was reportedly unhappy with his place in the squad and would depart next year unless everything changed.
Man United can extend the France international’s contract by 12 months till June.
The Red Devils are reportedly undecided on how to handle his situation, and he may be extended before being sold next summer.
According to Football Insider, Man United are eager to sell Martial in January and have received three offers.
The article indicates that the club wants to cut his £250,000-a-week wage, especially since Erik ten Hag does not see him in his long-term plans.
Due to Cristiano Ronaldo’s uncertain future at Old Trafford, Martial started last season as the team’s top centre-forward.
However, physical issues limited the ex-Monaco teenager to 29 appearances last season, scoring nine times and providing three assists.
Martial’s only goal in 2023-24 came against Crystal Palace in the EFL Cup last month. He has no Premier League goals in six games.
As Hojlund would be their sole first-team centre-forward if the Frenchman left mid-season, Man United would likely sign a replacement.
After his dispute with Ten Hag last month, Jadon Sancho is still out of the first-team picture and likely to leave in January.
