Morocco has only qualified for the World Cup once since 2000, in Russia. Despite collecting just one point from three group matches, the African nation fared better than their record suggests, losing 1-0 to Portugal and being denied a triumph over Spain by an injury-time equalizer.

Since losing 5-3 to Spain at Euro 2020, Croatia has lost just once in 16 games, a loss they avenged by winning 3-1 in Austria. Andrej Kramaric scored the only goal in Croatia’s 1-0 win over Saudi Arabia last Wednesday.

Even though Sofyan Amrabat is set to return to the starting lineup in the middle of the field, Regragui is likely to go with a large portion of the team that performed so well in a 3-0 win against Georgia.
It is expected that Noussair Mazraoui will fill in at left-back, with Achraf Hakimi guaranteed to play on the right, and the other starting positions remaining the same for the most part.
Romain Saiss will lead the team as captain and play center defense with Nayef Aguerd, and Youssef En-Nesyri will have Hakim Ziyech on his side.
Meanwhile, Luka Modric and Mateo Kovacic are locked to start in the middle for Croatia, and Dalic is anticipated to start most of the same team that defeated Austria in September.
Dalic’s greatest decision appears to be between Bruno Petkovic and Andrej Kramaric for a starting spot in attack, with Josip Stanisic expected to start at right back.
