Paris Saint-Germain signed a contract with Al-Hilal to bring Neymar to Saudi Arabia, with personal terms previously agreed upon.
L’Equipe reports that Neymar will join PSG from the Saudi Pro League. The 31-year-old Brazilian signed a two-year contract worth €160 million (£138m/$175m).
The big picture: Neymar’s six-year stay in Paris appears to be ending. Since March, he has undergone reconstructive ankle ligament surgery to fix his injury problems from his 2017 world-record trade from Barcelona.
PSG ultras protested outside Neymar’s home earlier this year, despite his 118 goals for the club. He and Marco Verratti had to find new clubs this summer.
Neymar will join a host of global superstars in Saudi Arabia this summer. He’ll join Kalidou Koulibaly, Ruben Neves, and former Barcelona player Malcom at Al-Hilal.
