Gianluca Di Marzio reported Sunday afternoon that Inter are close to signing Bologna striker Marko Arnautovic.
According to Di Marzio, the Nerazzurri have made significant progress in recent days and may reach an agreement soon.
Inter will pay €10m for a guaranteed €8m and €2m in “easily achievable” add-ons.
Arnautovic, on loan from FC Twente, won the treble under Jose Mourinho in 2010.
After parting ways with Edin Dzeko at the end of the 2022-23 season and falling out with Romelu Lukaku, Inter have been searching for a new striker for weeks.
Marcus Thuram was signed for free, but the Nerazzurri still lack a senior center-forward from last year.
Arnautovic is reportedly “very close” to replacing Simone Inzaghi’s striker.
